Royals Snag NC State Transfer Alyssa Lewis

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball Head coach Jen Brown has announced the signing of Alyssa Lewis on Wednesday afternoon. The sophomore transfer joins the Royals after spending a year at NC State University. 

"Alyssa is a dynamic shooter with deep range," said Head Coach Jen Brown. "Any time you can add a player who has been a part of an NCAA Final Four team is a huge plus for your program. Alyssa's overall experience, work ethic and skill set will be a welcome addition to our program. She's hungry and ready to compete!" 

The Harrisburg, N.C native averaged 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 3 steals per game in her senior year at Hickory Ridge. Lewis was a three-time All-Conference player and 1000 point scorer while in high school. 

"I'm honored to join the Queens family," said Lewis."Coach Brown and her staff are building a great program here at Queens. I'm looking forward to taking my game to the next level and being a part of something special."
