THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte Men's tennis dropped a tough battle 4-3 to the Stetson Hatters on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals took the doubles point early in the match after Ram Mude and Win Steveker won at the top line 7-5 along with Arenui Luethi and Connor Enslin winning 6-2 in No. 2 doubles.
-Laurenz Blickwede picked up his third consecutive win at the top singles line with a 6-2 mark in straight sets.
- Filippo Verdese was able to win what would be the last point for the Royals on court 6. He won the first set 6-2 and was able to take the second set 7-6.
-The match came down to Line 5 where Ram Mude lost the first set 6-4, fought back to win the second set 7-5 but ultimately dropped the third set 6-1.

The Royals are back in action at home as they celebrate Senior Day against NC A&T on Tuesday, April 9th. The match is set for 2:00 PM.
