Favreau Receives Third ASUN Player of the Week Recognition

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte sophomore attacker Kayleen Favreau has been named ASUN Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week, the League announced today. It is the fifth Player of the Week honor for the Royals this season and the third of Favreau's career who received the honor twice this season already.

The Holly Springs, N.C., native has had an exceptional season for the Royals. Last week, the Royals went 1-1 as Favreau recorded seven goals in a 21-12 midweek win over Stetson. The seven goals were a new career-high for the Royal and matched the Queens single-game record. Additionally, Favreau crossed the 100 career-goal mark in the game. She has 58 goals this season to rank first in the ASUN and top 10 in the nation in the category.
