Women's Basketball Signs JUCO Transfer Dayuna Colvin

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball Head coach Jen Brown announced the signing of Dayuna Colvin on Saturday afternoon. The junior transfer joins the Royals after spending two years at Butler Community College.

"I couldn't be happier for Dayuna to join our Royal family," said head coach Jen Brown. "She is a proven scorer who plays extremely hard on offense and defense. Her physicality coupled with her ability to create in the open court is a welcomed addition!"

The Kennesaw, Georgia native finished her last season averaging 10.4 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 2.5 APG. Colvin ended her career at Butler with All-KJCCC honors, 22 games scoring 10+ points and 13 games with five or more rebounds.

"I have been blessed with an opportunity to join the Queens family," said Dayuna Colvin. "I am honored to continue my basketball journey under the leadership of Coach Brown and her staff. Coach Brown is a visionary and I am looking forward to helping her and her staff conquer that vision. Let's go Royals!"
