NASHVILLE, TENN. — The Royals will head to the Music City for a three-game series against the Lipscomb Bisons starting on April 13 at 2:00 PM ET.

GAME NOTES & QUICK FACTS - QUEENS ROYALS
- The Royals are coming off a non-conference midweek doubleheader against ACC NC State, falling in 7-1 and 8-1 decisions.
- Lindsey DeRoeck smashed her first home run of the season against the Wolfpack in game one of the series. In another note about DeRoeck, she leads the league in walks drawn with 10.
- Autumn Courtney still holds her title of nation-leader in strikeouts with 189 on the season. As of April 11, Nijaree Canady of Stanford sits at 185 on the season. Courtney is well on her way to 400 career strikeouts as the sophomore currently sits at 380.
- Ashlyn Mickler and Kayla Smith lead the Royals at the plate, with Mickler sporting a .304 and Smith putting up a .302 in batting averages. Combined, the middle infield duo has pieced together 66 hits on the season, which accounts for over a third of the team's total hits.
Scouting the Opponent - LIPSCOMB BISONS
- The Bisons are coming off a conference series against Bellarmine and a midweek game against non-conference Middle Tennessee. Lipscomb took home the Bellarmine series 2-1 (4-0, 6-1, 1-2), including a first-game shutout, but fell against Middle Tennessee by a walk-off (4-3).
- In the ASUN, Lipscomb sits second to last in pitching as their staff has a 4.17 ERA. Bisons ace Laine Barefoot sits with a 2.99 ERA and a 5-9 record.
- Offensively, the Bisons sit towards the middle of the league with a .243 batting average. In terms of RBI, the squad sit in second-to-last with 108.
- Josey Polk, redshirt sophomore transfer from James Madison, leads at the plate for Lipscomb with a .297 batting average and 33 hits to her stat line.
- Queens and Lipscomb have both faced FGCU, UNA, and UNF in conference. Queens and Lipscomb both lost the series at FGCU but Queens won the UNF series while Lipscomb were outscored 20-1 in three losses.
