THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte Men's tennis extended its winning streak in a double-header against Belmont Abbey on Wednesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals took the doubles point to start both matches with the same fate of winning No. 1 and 2 doubles and leaving Line 3 unfinished.
-Connor Enslin won 6-2, 6-2 in match 1 and 6-1, 6-2 in match 2.
-Ram Mude took No. 3 Singles with a 6-3 mark in set 1 and a 6-0 mark in set 2 in the first match. The second match came with a similar outcome as he took Line 3, 6-3, 6-1.
-Filippo Verdese won No.4 singles 7-6, 6-4 in the first match and won convincingly 6-1 in straight sets in the second match.
-Zachary Dacuba handled business on Line 6 with a 6-1, 6-3 victory in match 1.
-In the second matchup, Win Steveker came out on top with 6-4, 6-2 marks in No. 1 singles.
Griffin Lovern joined in on the winning after picking up No. 5 singles with a 6-4, 7-5 score in match 2.
