Royals Clinch First ASUN Win Over Bellarmine 6-1

THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte Men's tennis extends its winning streak with a big 6-1 win over ASUN opponent Bellarmine.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals took the doubles point to start the match winning the top two doubles match ups. Connor Enslin and Arenui Luethi won 6-3 in No.2 doubles while
Ram Mude and Win Steveker pulled out the 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles. 

-Laurenz Blickwede clinched the match for the Royals with his No.1 singles win which was the fourth point of the day. The first set was won 6-4 and the second set was won with a 6-2 mark. 
-Win Steveker picked up the first singles win on the day at Line 2. The match was won with 6-3 and 6-2 marks. 
-Arenui Luethi battled it out in No.3 singles, winning the match in three sets. The first set was won 6-3, second set was dropped 7-6, and Luethi won the match with a 6-3 mark in the third set. 
-Ram Mude continued his winning streak to 7 straight singles wins. Mude won 6-1 in both sets of his Line 5 match. 
-Filippo Verdese picked up his seventh singles win of the season winning at Line 6 with 7-5 and 6-4 marks.

NEXT UP
The Royals are back in action at home on Sunday, March 17th against Austin Peay State University. The match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
