THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte Men's tennis picked a second consecutive win against NCCU at home on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals lost the doubles point despite Arenui Luethi and Griffin Lovern winning No.3 doubles 6-4.Â
-Win Steveker won his first singles match of the season at Line 2. The junior won the first set 6-1 and lost the second set 1-6 to push a third set. The third set was won 6-3 by Steveker.Â
-Arenui Luethi won his two sets on Line 3 by 6-2 and 6-3 marks.Â
-Ram Mude secured his third consecutive singles win with a 6-3 finish in both sets. Mude is currently 3-0 in No. 5 singles.Â
- At Line 6, Filippo Verdese won the match with a shutout 6-0 win in the first set and a 7-5 win in the second set.Â

The Royals are back in action on the road on Saturday, February 24th against UNC Greensboro. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. Â
