CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte wrestling team hosted Sacred Heart and VMI in a Senior Day tri-meet this Sunday afternoon, falling in both meets.

KEY STATS AND NOTES
- Seniors Wesley Sharpe and Josh Voelkel were honored ahead of the meets for their careers at Queens.
- Gregg Merriman picked up a pin victory over Owen Ayotte of Sacred Heart.
- Riley Kuhn earned a 12-7 decision win over Jake Trovato of Sacred Heart.
- D'Andree Hunt collected a 7-4 decision win over Ethan Barrett of VMI. His win was the lone win of the meet against the Keydets for Queens.
UP NEXT
Queens will be on the road for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. They will travel to Presbyterian on Sunday, Jan. 21.
