THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team dropped a crosstown showdown at Charlotte on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Edoardo Bottino and Laurenz Blickwede picked up their first win of the season at No. 1 doubles with a 6-2 victory over Simon/Acosta.
-The 49ers captured the doubles point with victories on No. 2 and No. 3.
-Senior Edoardo Bottino improved to 3-2 on the season with a 6-4, 6-7(7-5), 1-0(12-10) win at No. 2.

NEXT UP
Queens will return to the courts tomorrow, February 5^th as they travel to Gardner-Webb University. The match will begin at 1:00 PM from Boiling Springs, N.C.
