Queens Softball Takes on USC Upstate

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Queens softball competed in a Wednesday matinee on the road, taking on USC Upstate for the first of three meetings this week. The Spartans had the upper hand, defeating the Royals 8-1. 

Queens crossed the plate off the bat of Lindsey DeRoeck, who executed a sacrifice bunt which brought home Gerlea Patton.

Queens is back in action this weekend as they head back to Spartanburg, S.C. to compete in the Wings ETC Classic, hosted by USC Upstate.
