CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte wrestling team (0-8) traveled a short distance up the highway to Davidson to take on the Wildcats this evening. Queens would fall 42-4 in the meet to Davidson who picked up their first win of the season to move to 1-2.
How it Happened
- Fifth-year senior Melvin Rubio collected a win by major decision this evening, competing in the 141-pound weight class match. He defeated Joshua Viarengo.
- D'Andree Hunt fell in a close match to Cameo Blankenship, 13-10.
- Paul Bradley served as acting head coach for the meet.
