WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Queens University of Charlotte wrestling team (0-1) traveled to New York to compete in the Black Knight Scramble hosted by Army over the weekend.
 
Queens walked away with a pair of wins in the event that had participants from Army, Oregon State, and Long Island University.
 
Melvin Rubio took third place in the 141-pound weight class after defeating Devin Matthews of LIU.
 
Additionally, Stephen Cotton won by major decision over LIU's Kaelan Francois. He took fifth place in the 133-pound weight class.
