The Short Story: Queens women's basketball hit the road for its first road trip of the season, taking on head coach Jen Brown's alma mater James Madison. Adia Brisker posted in an impressive 14 points as Queens would fall 89-48.

By The Numbers

-Adia Brisker had a season-high 14 points on 35.7% shooting from the field. She made four of six free throws she attempted to help get to that point. She also managed five rebounds as well.
-Allie Johnson put up her third double-digit point performance of the season in as many games, totaling 12 points on 33.3% shooting. She was one of three players who made two three-pointers on the afternoon.
-Off the bench, Kennedy Fuller put together seven points and two rebounds while adding a steal. Yvonne Lee had a nice game off the bench as well with eight points of her own, shooting 40% from downtown (2-5)

Coach's Words

JMU is a deep physical team. All credit goes to their players and coaching staff. They played well today. JMU executed and made a lot of tough shots. Having to sit Kid Kidwell & Allie Johnson due to foul trouble really hurt us early. We showed our #EarnEverything mentality in spurts and you cannot do that against a team of this magnitude. We got a lot of great film to teach, learn and grow from.

Next Up
Queens will enjoy four days off before their next game, returning home for a contest against UNC Asheville on Friday, November 18 at 7:30 PM. The game will be the final of the "Tip-Off Series", as they will celebrate International Student Appreciation Night.
