CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's wrestling team 2-12 (1-6 SACC) battled but could not overcome two forfeited matches and lost to Limestone (10-2; 5-1 SACC) by a 28-17 final.

Melvin Rubio (125 lb) won the opener by forfeit after the match was stopped due to injury. After a Limestone win,
Nico D'Amico (141 lb) won his match by decision to take an early 9-5 lead.
The Royals forfeited both the 149 lb and 157 lb matches to put the Saints on top 17-9.
Wesley Sharpe (165 lb) turned the tide with a critical win by decision before
Stephon Halliburton (174 lb) was victorious by technical fall to tie the score at 17-17.
Ninth ranked
Noah Curreri went to overtime with 16th ranked Jaquez Bostic but lost in the final seconds to recapture the lead for Limestone. Queens lost the final two matches of the night and the Saints went marching to victory.
Queens remains home for senior night in a tri-meet versus Emmanuel and Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday, February 3rd.
