CHARLOTTE, N.C. –The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team defeated the Limestone University Saints, 1-0, in the semifinal round of the South Atlantic Conference Championship to advance to Sunday's Championship final for the first time since joining the SAC.

Nia Gaither scoring her third goal of the season and second straight game-winner in just the sixth minute of play.
Queens outshot the Saints, 8-4, tonight putting four shots on goal to Limestone's two. Additionally, the Royals totaled five shots in the opening half while the backline made up of
Jada Palmer,
Grace Sain, and
Hilda Svensson didn't allow the Saints to get a single shot off. Goalkeeper
Erica Turner continued her stellar play this season as well recording two saves in the win.
Queens will host fourth-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne in the SAC Championship on Sunday, April 11 at 4 p.m. It will be the first meeting between the two teams this season.
