HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte women's golf team capped off the Battle at Hilton Head shooting a 327 in round two to place ninth in the field of 14 teams.

Carson-Newman edged out Lenoir-Rhyne by one stroke to win the tournament hosted by Lincoln Memorial at the Robert Trent Jones-Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. 

Charleigh Hodges led the Royals shooting a 159 to tie for 16th place. Sarah Johnson scored a 164 to tie for 27th followed by Emelia Pack who scored a 169 tying for 45th. Peyton Gillespie and Jenna Lynn rounded out the Royals effort scoring a 171 and 172 respectively. 

Next up for Queens is the Hargett Memorial Invitational hosted by Wingate, March 15-16.
