CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's wrestling team dropped its season opening matches versus Life and North Carolina at the UNC Duals Tri-Meet.
The Royals competed against two of the nation's premier teams with Life University ranked No. 2 in NAIA and the University of North Carolina ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division-I.
Queens lost to Life by a 35-3 final with Royals All-American,
Noah Curreri, winning his match by decision. The Royals lost its second match to North Carolina by a 48-0 final.
Queens men's wrestling is back on the road to take on The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
