CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte Royals (9-3, 6-1) collected their second win in a row at home tonight defeating Lincoln Memorial University (6-4-2, 4-3-1) at Dickson Field this evening. The 2-0 win is the second consecutive shutout win for the Royals, and their eighth of the season.

Mia Manuel scored tonight's game-winner with a goal in the 14
th minute of play. The goal is her fifth of the season and moves her back in front in goals and points at Queens as she now has five and 10, respectively.

The Royals would later get an insurance goal from junior forward
Nia Gaither in the 69
th. Her goal was assisted by
Maddy Leone.

Queens once again dominated possession outshooting the Railsplitters 15-4. The Royals also put seven shots on goal with
Karen Juarez notching two.

In goal,
Erica Turner recorded the win after totaling two saves. Today's shutout win is her seventh of the season.
