Charlotte, NC - The Queens University of Charlotte men's wrestling team (6-9; 3-4 SAC/CC) held off Lander for a 24-21 victory in its final match of the regular season.

Melvin Rubio (125 lb) turned in another strong performance defeating his opponent by fall to hoist Queens ahead 6-0. Freshman
Joey Hancock (149) and junior
Stephon Halliburton (165) each battled their way to close victories and the return of junior
Noah Curreri from injury provided just enough to fend off Lander. Curreri (174) earned six points pinning his opponent and Queens was victorious despite losing their final three matches.Â
