Belmont, NC - The Queens University of Charlotte men's wrestling team (3-2; 1-1 SAC/CC) lost at Belmont-Abbey (7-3; 3-0 SAC/CC) Wednesday evening by a final team score of 36-12.

Junior Melvin Rubio (125 lb) led off the evening with a win by fall before the Crusaders rattled off five straight victories. Stephon Halliburton (174 lb) and Hunter Tobiasson (197 lb) collected the Royals' other two victories while Jacob Balmas (165 lb) was triumphant in an exhibition match.

Queens returns home to face off with Mount Olive on Thursday, January 23rd at 7 p.m.
