Charlotte, NC - The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team (12-5-1; 6-4 SAC) defeated Anderson (7-8; 4-6 SAC) by a final score of 1-0 in its final regular season game of the season.

The Royals jumped to an early lead in the 20th minute when sophomore midfielder Victoria Templin knocked in her first career goal off a corner kick from freshman midfielder Logan Farrelly. Templin's goal was the only score they needed as Queens prevailed around another impermeable defensive effort. Queens pitched its fourth straight shut out led by a three-save performance by freshman goalkeeper Erica Turner.

Queens finished its home schedule 7-1-1 in games played in Charlotte and secured the No. 6 Seed in the South Atlantic Conference Championships. The Royals play in the quarterfinals of the tournament at Carson-Newman on Saturday, November 9th at 5 p.m.
