HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Facing its fourth road match in its last five contests, the Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team (5-3; 1-2) put together its most dominating performance of the season in a rout of South Atlantic Conference opponent Coker (0-5; 0-2) by a final score of 7-0.Â

Dani Diaz and sophomore
Lulu Phan, five different Royals found the back of the net for the Royals. Diaz and Phan both netted two goals on the night and are tied with five apiece for the season, tied together for the team lead. Diaz also tallied two assists to round out her six-point night.Â

Queens had three different freshmen score on the Cobras, including
McKenzee Johnson and
Alexandra Bertuch-Wallace, who both put home their first career collegiate goals. For Bertuch-Wallace, it was her first game appearance as a Royal.

Charlotte Ring also scored for the Royals, her fourth goal of the season.Â

It was the second consecutive shutout for senior goalie
Rachel Quest and her third of the season. She and the Royals defense have allowed only one goal in the last three games. Queens outshot Coker by a wide 35-5 margin, including a 17-0 edge in shot on goals. Its 35 shots were the most since it recorded 37 on Oct. 29, 2016 versus Brevard.Â

The seven goals scored by Queens was the most goals it has scored in a single game since Sept. 28, 2011, when it notched seven in a win against Barton College.Â

The Royals will continue their string of road games as they head to Anderson, S.C on Wednesday, Oct. 3, for another conference bout with Anderson. That game is slated for a 5 p.m. start.Â
