CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte's
Mark Lepkowski, head strength and conditioning coach, has added
Jennifer Pfohl to his staff as the assistant strength and conditioning coach. Pfohl joins the Royals after spending two seasons with the Temple University Owls.

"Jenny brings a high level of professionalism and a wealth knowledge and experience from her time at Temple and as an intern," said Lepkowski, "I'm happy to welcome her to the Queens family and believe she will truly thrive."

Pfohl comes to Queens as a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a USA-Weightlifting, Level 1 Sports Performance Coach.

While with the Owls, Pfohl served as a graduate assistant in the athletic department. She designed and implemented strength and conditioning programs for women's gymnastics and men's golf along with the other Olympic sports at Temple. Prior to joining the Owls, Pfohl spent a semester interning at the University of Illinois at Chicago working with their Olympic sports as well.

A 14-year competitive gymnast herself, Pfohl also coached at Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies before she began her career as a strength and conditioning coach.

Pfohl graduated from Colorado State University in 2013 after double majoring in health and exercise science and human nutrition and food science. She also holds a master's degree in psychology of human movement from Temple.
