HARTSVILLE, S.C. –Queens University of Charlotte extended its win streak to five in women's soccer action this afternoon, picking up a 6-0 road win over Coker College. The win improves the Royals to 7-3 in South Atlantic Conference play and 9-5 on the year. Coker drops to 1-9 in the league and 2-10 on the season.

Kathy Fisher scored the first of the Royals' three goals in the opening half of today's game in the 26
th minute. After receiving a pass from
Thea Mallett, Fisher streaked past a defender and beat Coker's goalkeeper near post for the 1-0 lead. A goal from
Alana Jefferson followed in the 30
th to put the Royals ahead 2-0, and
Charlotte Ring gave the game a 3-0 score heading into the break after chasing down a long ball from
Erin Morabito and beating the keeper one-on-one.

The Royals found three more goals in the second with the first coming from Jefferson in the 75
th minute. Fisher earned the assist on the play after finding Jefferson wide open in the middle of the box. Ring also found the back of the net twice today, scoring again in the 76
th after receiving a cross from Jefferson. The final goal of the day would come from Mallett in the 82
nd. Racing up the field, Mallet got a lead pass from Ring and beat her defender and the keeper for the score.

Queens dominated control of today's game outshooting the Cobras 37-6, putting 21 shots on goal.
Rachel Quest totaled two saves for her sixth shutout of the year.

The Royals will step outside of conference play to face Pfeiffer University on the road on Wednesday, October 26 at 5 p.m. Last season's game against the Falcons ended in a 1-1 draw with Fisher scoring for Queens.
