Queens began the game pounding the ball into the paint to start with an 8-0 run forcing the Cobras to call a timeout and regroup. A 10-2 run would put Queens ahead 18-8, but another cold spell on the offensive end would allow the Cobras to put together a 12-0 run and take over the lead with 8:57 to play in the half. The Royals' offense would pick back up and they would eventually head into the locker room with a 33-31 lead following a made three-pointer from
David Mason.

Ali got the Royals going in the second half with five quick points to extend Queens' lead to seven, 38-31, a little over two minutes into play. However, Coker would come back just as quick cutting Queens' lead to two. An 11-2 run would really open things up for Queens giving them their largest lead of the game, 62-47, with 4:15 to play. The run would be just enough to put the Cobras away as Queens took the road win.
