Brevard, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte volleyball team was swept at Brevard College Friday night, 25-23; 25-17; 25-19.
With the loss, the Royals fall to 5-10, while Tornados improve to 8-4 on the season.
For the Royals,
Brittany Harvey (Matthews, N.C., Sun Valley ) led all hitters with 12 kills, hitting 38.5%.
Brittany Harvey (Matthews, N.C., Sun Valley ) added eight kills to the attack to go with four block assists.
Erinn Moore (Longwood, Fla., Lake Mary) directed the attack with 29 assists, while
Alison Williams (Rougemont, N.C., Northern Durham) patrolled the backline for the Royals with eight digs.
Brooke Seaman led the Tornados in the match, recording 10 kills while hitting 37.5% from the floor. Jordei Osby added six kills to the attack, while Jamie Atkinson and Ashlie Morrison each contributed with five.
The Tornados had 24 assists for the match as Bethany Stevenson and Lindsey Rogers each had 12.
The Royals will be back in action Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. against Conference Carolinas rival Limestone.
