Charlotte, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte volleyball team couldn't cool down the red-hot Pfeiffer University Wednesday night, losing in straight sets as the Falcons increased their win streak to 10 games.
The Royals dealt a balanced offense, with four players tallying five or more kills.
Tori Hernandez (Gainesville, Fla., Gainesvillle) led the group with six kills, while
Erinn Moore (Longwood, Fla., Lake Mary) collected 20 saves and 8 digs.
Brittany Harvey (Matthews, N.C., Sun Valley ) contributed five kills and shared the game high with three service aces.
The Falcons were led by Kristina Mordini with 11 kills. Directing the attack with a game-high 22 assists was Vanessa Gerig. Kaci Markham patrolled the perimeter for Pfeiffer with17 digs.
Queens plays next on Friday at St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, NC.
