Caroline Arakelian (Livonia, Mich., Livonia Stevenson) of the women's swim team has been named as the January Intercon Student-Athlete of the Month. Arakelian went the month of January undefeated in the 200 Backstroke and 200 IM swimming against the likes of Division I schools University of Arkansas, University of South Carolina, College of Charleston, and Davidson.  Arakelian also maintained her rank of number in the country in the 200 backstroke, number two in the 400 IM and number one in the 200 IM.
