Queens University of Charlotte Athletics

Shonice Pettaway (Walstonburg, N.C., Greene Central) has been selected as the December InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month.

Pettaway scored a season-high 28 points in Queens' close game with King College early in the month. She also pulled down eight rebounds in the game. For the month, the junior forward averaged 15 points and 6.7 rebounds. 

Queens is currenlty 5-3 in league action, ranking them fifth in Conference Carolinas.
