Avery Kemora, a junior from Chicago, Ill., led the Royals to their first NIRA Divisional Championship as Queens defeated Davenport, 34-27, in overtime on Nov. 19. The win capped the program's first undefeated season since joining NIRA. Kemora, the forwards captain, was also named MVP for her stellar play in the Championship game.
