Alex Kunert helped propel the Royals Men’s Swimming team forward to their seventh consecutive National Championship in early March. The senior was outstanding at the Championships and was honored as the CSCAA Male Swimmer of the Year. Kunert recorded seven All-America swims featuring the 200-yard IM, 400-yard medley relay, 200-yard butterfly, 800-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard freestyle, and the 100-yard freestyle. The Berlin, Germany native took gold in two individual events while also adding a pair of first place finishes in the relay events.
