Matej Dusa had an incredibly successful month given the sophomore's intense schedule. The Bratislava, Slovakia native posted eight first-place finishes across three separate meets for the Royals. Dusa was perfect in the 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay with three wins in each event. In the individual events, Dusa took the crown twice in the 50-yard freestyle, including a remarkable 19.76 time against Duke and Tennessee. Dusa would also add a pair of second-place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle. At the beginning of the month, Dusa made the semifinals of the World Championships in Abu Dhabi. Currently, he is ranked No. 1 nationally in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle.
