Taylor Stevens of the Queens women's basketball team has been named December Female InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month.

Stevens, a redshirt-freshman guard, helped guide the Royals to a crucial road victory over Coker University during December. The Prince George, Virginia native average 10 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game including consecutive double-double performances against Coker and Tusculum University. Stevens scored a career-high 13 points against the Cobras and pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds against the Pioneers.
