Gabby Schultz of the women's track and field team has been named January InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month.

Schultz, a senior thrower for Queens, earned three first place finishes for the month in the shot put. Her throw of 14.70 meters at the Finn Pincus meet set a new school record in the event, and has the thrower ranked first in the South Atlantic Conference and 14^th in the nation. Additionally, Schultz eared AstroTurf SAC Field Athlete of the Week twice during the month. Schultz also ranks second in the SAC in the weight throw.
