Lade Adepoju has been named December Female InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month.
Adepoju guided the Royals to two wins during the month of December, leading the team with 14.2 point, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 60.4% from the floor.
The senior from Alicante, Spain started all six games during the month and averaged 31 minutes per contest. Adepoju totaled three double-doubles, beginning with a 14-points, 10-rebound performance against league-leading Anderson University at home. She followed that performance with 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor and 6-of-10 from the free line to go along with 15 rebounds in a win over Augusta University, before ending the month with 10 points and 11 rebounds in a 21-point win over Livingstone.
