Edmundo Robinson has been named October Male InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month.
Robinson earns the honor after a month in which he led Queens to a share of the South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship for the first time since 2013, garnering Conference Player of the Year in the process.
The senior forward from Stone Mountain, Ga., went on an offensive tear over eight matches in October. Highlighted by two game-winners, he scored five goals and tallied four assists for a total of 14 points. Both game-winning goals came against conference opponents, one being Wingate, who the Royals overcame for the first time since 2003. Capped off by two goals on two shots in a win over Newberry, Robinson compiled 13 points on five goals and three assists over a stretch of five contests, all against conference opponents.
