Queens University of Charlotte Athletics

Josefina Lorda-Taylor has been named January InterCon Female Student-Athlete of the Month. 

Lorda-Taylor led the women's swimming team to a win over Bluegrass Mountain members Lenoir-Rhyne University and Limestone College, as well as a second place finish in the S.C. College Invitational where the team defeated ECU for the first time in program history.
 
She had two wins during the month, including a victory in 200-Yard Freestyle against Duke and a 500-Yard Freestyle win in the S.C. College Invitational. Lorda-Taylor is currently ranked fourth in the nation in the 200-Yard Freestyle and fifth overall in the 200-Yard I.M.
