Lade Adepoju of the women's basketball team has been named December InterCon Female Student-Athlete of the Month.

Adepoju scored in double figures in each of her four games during the month of December, averaging a team-high 15.3 points per game. The junior from Alicante, Spain shot 55 percent from the floor, while recording 6.5 rebounds, one assist and one steal per game. Adepoju currently ranks among the South Atlantic Conference's top scorers and rebounders with 16.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per contest.
