Paul Pijulet of the men's swimming team has been named November InterCon Male Student-Athlete of the Month.
Pijulet was an instrumental part in leading Queens to a first place finish among seven programs in competition at the annual Marriott Fall Frenzy Invitational.

The senior won four individual events in the meet, including two meet records in the 100-yard butterfly (45.60), 100-yard backstroke (47.05) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:43.62). His time in the 100-yard butterfly led all swimmers across Divisions I and II, as Pijulet was also part of two relay team victories.

He currently ranks first nationally in the 50-yard backstroke, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 50-yard butterfly and 100-yard butterfly and the Queens men’s swimming team continues to be ranked No. 1 in the CSCAA-TYR Top 25 Division II Poll.

The Royals return to the pool on Sunday, Dec. 17, as they take on Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C.
