McKell Oliverio earns the InterCon Female Student-Athlete of the Month Award after helping the Royals pick up three key South Atlantic Conference victories in the month of December.
Oliverio helped her squad secure three conference wins in a row to boost the team in SAC standings. Oliverio posted the second highest point total for the month with 71 points while shooting 50.74-percent from the field. She secured an average of 14.2 points per game, becoming a go-to player on offense as she reached double-figures in four out of the month’s five games for points. From the line, Oliverio made nine-of-ten free-throws in addition to securing 16 rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two blocks.
“McKell has put forth an outstanding effort on and off the court demonstrating what it looks like to strive for excellence,” said Queens Head Women’s Basketball Coach Sarah Jansen.
