Sophomore forward Kelli Gottry was named InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month following a great month of competition in September.

Gottry of the women's team totaled two goals and an assist during the month. Both goals helped Queens come back and tie the game after being down 0-1, and the assist tallied was on a goal to win the game against Coker. By the end of the month, Gottry had played in all nine matches, starting in eight. She tallied 15 shots, nine being on frame.

"Kelli is an amazing example of competitiveness and leadership," said Queens head coach Katie Talbert. "
