Queens University of Charlotte Athletics

Phillip Bertholf was named the Assistant Director for Facilities and Events at Queens University of Charlotte on Dec. 11, 2023.

Bertholf is a recent graduate of SUNY Cortland and earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. After graduation, Bertholf was an Athletic Facilities and Game Operations Intern at Duke University.

Prior to SUNY Cortland, Bertholf collaborated with an expansive team of interns at the 2022 World Lacrosse Men's U21 World Championship in the summer of 2022. At the event, Bertholf worked as a resource for communication between the team president and the head coach of Netherlands Lacrosse and the Ireland Lacrosse organization and worked with a team of five World and Ireland Lacrosse executives to organize the tournament's closing ceremonies. That same summer, he worked at the European Box Lacrosse Championships in Hannover, Germany. Bertholf primarily worked from a social media and public relations perspective and grew the Slovakia Box Lacrosse Federation's reach by 15,000-percent.

Bertholf began his career in collegiate athletics at the Division 1 level at the UNC Greensboro Athletic Department as a ticketing intern.
