Outdoor: Set personal best in the 800M at 1:54.44
2016:
Outdoor: Finished first in the 800 at the Wingate Invitational. As well as second in the 1500... Finished fifth in the SAC championship in the 1500 and third in the 800.
Indoor: Finsihed second in the 3000m at the JDL college kick-off classic
2015:
Outdoor-- Placed third at the SAC Championship in the 800 meter with the time of 1:58.76…Set his personal best in the 800m with the time of 1:56.60 and in the 1500m with 4:11.01.
High School: Ran Cross Country, Track and Field and played basketball at Darlington High School... Cross Country MVP in 2012, Track MVP in 2014 and Basketball Defensive MVP in 2013... Avery was also Honor Council Vice President.
Personal: Born on December 18, 1995... Son of Cornell and Sybil Cypress... Major is undecided.
