2026 Queens Athletics Awards: Royals Sportsmanship Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Department of Athletics is proud to announce the start of its annual summer awards series, celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of its student-athletes during the 2025-26 season.

Award winners will be revealed every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer across the department's official social media platforms. The series kicks off today with the Royals Sportsmanship Award recipients. In total, 12 awards will be distributed over the summer months, recognizing both male and female honorees.

Royals Sportsmanship Award
Traditionally, this award is presented by the Department of Athletics to a student-athlete who has excelled in their sport and exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship. For the 2025-26 academic year, Queens is recognizing one athlete from each program "who best demonstrates the qualities of sportsmanship, including fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and integrity in competition."

One student-athlete from each program has been selected by their coaching staff for consistently demonstrating these ideals. These individuals have made a significant impact on their team culture, leading by example both in practice and in competition.
