CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's tennis teams saw five student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® honors, as officially announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Representing the Royals were Noe Villen, Alex Morris, Gavin Ryan, Filippo Scala, and Zoe Cvitanovic. The 2025-2026 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Eligible student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average while also appearing in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's total competitions.
Queens' five honorees were recognized for their excellence both on the court and in the classroom, continuing the Royals' tradition of success academically and athletically.
The CSC Academic All-District distinction celebrates student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to their sport while excelling in the classroom throughout the academic year.
