THE SHORT STORY:
The Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to Charleston Southern on Thursday night. The Buccaneers grabbed early momentum by securing the doubles point and then notched three straight-set wins to clinch the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
– Charleston Southern claimed the doubles point behind wins on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts. Queens' tandem at the No.3 doubles, consisting of
Lucy Hogan and
Daniela Tomala, were trailing 5-3 when play was stopped.
– In singles action, Charleston Southern clinched the match with straight-set wins on courts four, five, and six.

Zoe Cvitanovic,
Mathilde Bris, and
Lucy Hogan were all competing in unfinished matches in the top half of the lineup when the competition concluded.
