Queens men's tennis returned home Wednesday afternoon but fell 6-1 to Gardner-Webb at the Howard Levine Tennis Center. The Royals earned a point in singles play and pushed several matches to deciding sets, though the Runnin' Bulldogs used depth across the lineup to secure the road victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gardner-Webb claimed the doubles point with wins on all three courts to take an early advantage.
- Queens picked up its lone point in singles at No. 5, where Filippo Scala rallied for a three set victory.
- Alex Morris, Noe Villen, Diego Jimenez, and Gavin Ryan all forced third sets in their singles matches, each competing deep before coming up short.
- Gardner-Webb closed out the remaining courts to clinch the dual.
