THE SHORT STORY:
Queens women's tennis returned to the court Sunday afternoon, falling 4-0 on the road against No. 21 Clemson. The Tigers secured the doubles point and clinched the match in singles play, with multiple courts still competing when the dual was decided.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clemson took the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. The No. 2 doubles team of Rachel Byrne and Sofia Benhaddouch was trailing 1-5 when play was halted.
- In singles action, Clemson clinched the match with straight-set wins on courts three, five, and six.
- Zoe Cvitanovic, Mathilde Bris, and Rachel Byrne were all competing in unfinished matches in the top half of the lineup when the dual concluded.
- The match marked another test for the Royals against ranked competition as they continued a challenging nonconference stretch.
