Benhaddouch Breaks Through with First Win in Saturday Match

THE SHORT STORY:
Queens women's tennis closed out Saturday's road match at Presbyterian with a 4-1 decision in nonconference play. The Royals picked up a point in singles action, highlighted by Sofia Benhaddouch earning the first collegiate victory of her career.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Presbyterian claimed the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Queens' top doubles team of Mathilde Bris and Zoe Cvitanovic was trailing 2-4 when play was stopped.
- Queens got on the board at No. 4 singles, where Sofia Benhaddouch recorded a straight-set win, 6-2, 6-2, marking her first collegiate victory.
- Zoe Cvitanovic and Mathilde Bris were both in competitive matches at the top of the lineup before their contests were halted.
- Presbyterian secured singles wins on courts three, five, and six to clinch the dual.
